My Roots: Almost every job I have had has revolved around flowers. My very first job was working with bedding plants and vegetables at a small mom & pop nursery in New Jersey in the summer of 1986.

In my early 20’s I worked at a retail nursery in Carmel Valley, CA where I landscaped on the side, and then later I worked at a retail nursery / florist shop in Eureka CA during my Humboldt State University years.

In 1999 I went to work for Sun Valley Floral Farms where I started in the warehouse, moved onto their internet division, and then into National Sales for their mass market division where I worked for about 24 years.

Years in Floral Industry: 25+ Years

Favorite Flower: Tulips. I love how they dance! Orange are my favorite.
